The Aims of The Friends		The Friends' Contributions
The aims of the association are:-		The Friends have helped to improve the museum facilities in many ways e.g.,
	to engage with both the public and the museum staff in order to augment the facilities offered		Producing both handouts and audio guides in various languages
	to promote an improved understanding of our local heritage		Contributing towards the cost of installing a new sound system
	to publish information		Contributing towards the cost of new chairs
	and to organise events and functions		digitising information leaflets to be produced 'in-house'
			researching Falconer papers
			cataloguing the Anson collection
			assisting with preparations for exhibitions
			inputting data to the computerised Museum catalogue
			being partners in the development of the museum
			producing podcasts
